The first limited class - kemmaz Genesis

The first class couldn't afford to accommodate 15 students at a goal. So we had to make more session for people to come and learn and also the resources is something we have been tireless working so that people should continue to be help and there should be community transformation in Mambwe District. The greatest part of the project is that people have welcome the initiative and wants to learn from the vision of the organisation and be part of the change, the community leaders also have come on board through encouraging the community member to take part in the community technology development.

About Us

Kemmaz School of Digital Life has a vision to remove computer illiteracy and to provide life skills to the young and adults around Mambwe District.  Our area is known as a world class wildlife tourist attraction and we have observed that after international tourists depart for their home country, local people find it hard to continue communicating and networking with them for their personal and professional endeavors.  We realised that there is a gap for local residents between Conservation and Technology. Technology is an essential tool being used to preserve  Zambia's natural resources. We are among the few who have recognized the importance of technology in conservation; GPS, Computers, Vehicles and other instruments are being used in order to increase the efficient operation of conservation organisations.  In order for the residents of the Luangwa Valley to benefit from their wildlife and to join the work conserving our unique biodiversity, we need to level the playing field and ensure they have access to ICT and to the life skills and training that open the doors to education, employment and entrepreneurship.
