Kemmaz School of Digital Life is a Zambian registered non-profit making organisation dedicated to addressing the problem of  computer illiteracy and to promoting conservation through technology in  Mambwe District.  The jewel in our crown is  The South Luangwa National Park -  it is one of the world's last great wilderness areas and a region of extremely important and unique biodiversity.

Our organisation serves the communities of  Mambwe District which is located in the Eastern Province - we live amongst the wildlife of the Luangwa Valley alongside the South Luangwa National Park. With a population of nearly 110,000, Mambwe district is made up of six chiefdoms (Jumbe, Kakumbi, Msoro, Malama, Mnkhanya and Nsefu). Communities residing in these chiefdoms have, for a very long time, lacked opportunities to access education and training in  technology and about 85% of the students who make it to universities/ colleges lack these vital skills. In addition they often lack the life skills needed to succeed in tertiary education. 

Computer skills are simply essential to success at University and indeed in almost any career.
